Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale is one of the artists who made Africa proud when the list of artists who featured in Beyonce’s curated Lion King: The Gift album was made public.
Wale featured in the “Already” dancehall track that has been making airwaves in Ghana and other parts of Africa.
The “My Level” hitmaker has revealed that he has had a signicant number of calls for international projects, since Beyoncé’s Lion King album was released. He said most of the calls were from produers who said they liked his voice.
“A lot of producers around the world have contacted me with most saying that they like my voice. It was after that I listened to my voice well and I realized that I sound like Celine Dion.”
Other African artists who featured in Beyonce’s “Lion King” project include; Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Tecno, Mr Eazi, Yemi Alade, Salatiel and Burna Boy.
